Lecture for the students of the Faculty of Food Technology, Food Safety, and Ecology at the University of Donja Gorica

🟢 Following the lecture, students from the Faculty of Food Technology, Food Safety, and Ecology at the University of Donja Gorica were further educated on how to increase chemical safety in everyday life when dealing with chemicals and chemical products.

🟡 The general aim of the project “Knowledge about Chemicals for a Sustainable Community” 🧼 is to reduce environmental pollution from chemicals🧪 through strengthening the role of CSOs in fulfilling obligations from the EU integration process, which will be achieved through youth education👪, providing initial inputs for decision-makers through quality structured research📊 on the use and disposal of chemical products 🧼, as well as awareness levels of the dangers of this type of pollution🧽.

🟢 The project “Knowledge about Chemicals for a Sustainable Community” is supported by a grant from SMART Balkans – Civil Society for a Connected Western Balkans, implemented by the Center for the Promotion of Civil Society (CPCD) – Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Center for Research and Policy Making (CRPM) – North Macedonia, and the Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) – Albania, financially supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway.

IV International Conference on Waters of Montenegro

🔴 Director of the Center for Climate Change at the University of Montenegro, Ivana Vojinovic, participated in the IV International Conference on Waters of Montenegro, organized by the Montenegrin Waterworks Association and the Association of Municipalities of Montenegro.

🟢 Speaking at the panel “Climate Change,” Ivana Vojinovic pointed out the effects of the climate crisis on a global level, addressed the greatest challenges of climate change in Montenegro, the level of climate resilience of our country, the vulnerability of water resources due to climate hazards, and other issues related to this topic.
