Youth for Sustainable and Circular Textiles

🟢 “Youth for Sustainable and Circular Textiles” is the first project in Montenegro addressing the issue of textile waste management and targeting young people who are the largest consumers of textiles and environmental polluters from this source.

🟡 The project “Youth for Sustainable and Circular Textiles” is supported within the Regional Program of Local Democracy in the Western Balkans 2 – ReLOaD2, funded by the European Union 🇪🇺 and implemented by UNDP in partnership with local governments.

Air Pollution in the municipalities of Bijelo Polje, Nikšić, Pljevlja, and Podgorica

🟢 Dr. Ivana Vojinović, Director of the Center for Climate Change at UDG, spoke at a Workshop for representatives of local and national institutions on the topic “Air Pollution in the municipalities of Bijelo Polje, Nikšić, Pljevlja, and Podgorica,” organized by the NGO Green Home as part of the project “Raising awareness about the impact of heating on air pollution, climate change, and health.”

Research results on the awareness of women in Montenegro regarding the use of chemicals

🟢 The general objective of the project “Knowledge on Chemicals towards Sustainable Communities” is to reduce environmental pollution from chemicals 🧪 by strengthening the role of CSOs in fulfilling obligations from the EU integration process, which will be achieved through the education of youth, providing initial inputs for decision-makers through quality structured research 📊 on the ways of using and disposing of chemical products, as well as the level of awareness of the dangers of this type of pollution.

🟡 The project “Knowledge on Chemicals towards Sustainable Communities” is supported by the SMART Balkans grant – Civil Society for a Connected Western Balkans implemented by the Center for the Promotion of Civil Society (CPCD) – Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Center for Research and Policy Making (CRPM) – North Macedonia, and the Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) – Albania, financially supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway.

Recommendations of the World Health Organization on chemical safety

❗️As part of the project “Knowledge about Chemicals towards a Sustainable Community”, we present recommendations from the World Health Organization on chemical safety.

🟢 The general objective of the project “Knowledge about Chemicals towards a Sustainable Community” is to reduce environmental pollution from chemicals 🧪 by strengthening the role of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in fulfilling obligations arising from the European Union 🇪🇺 integration process. This will be achieved through youth education, providing initial inputs for decision-makers through well-structured research 📊 on the use and disposal methods of chemical products, as well as raising awareness about the dangers of this type of pollution.
